Girls basketball: CdM handles Bonita Vista

MISSION VIEJO - Kristen McCoy scored 25 points and grabbed 14

rebounds to lead Corona del Mar High girls basketball to a 49-29 win over

Bonita Vista in the second round of pool-play at the Mission Viejo

Tournament Thursday.

The Sea Kings (4-3) outscored Bonita Vista, 16-4, in the fourth

quarter for the win.

Charlene Quon had nine points and four assists for CdM, who will take

on Rancho Alamitos today at 5:30 p.m. in third-round, pool-play action.
