Men’s basketball: Pirates knock out L.A. Harbor

COSTA MESA - David Castleton and Dave Elliott each scored 21 points

to lead Orange Coast College men’s basketball to a 99-83 win over

visiting L.A. Harbor in nonconference basketball Thursday.

In a balanced attack, Chad Hagedorn had 17 points, Duc Nguyen added 16

points and Jeff Beeler had 14 points for the Pirates (7-3).

After a 16-4 run by L.A. Harbor (1-10) gave the Seahawks a 59-58 lead,

OCC went on a 16-1 run of its own in the second half to take control of

the game.

Mark Jenkins led the Seahawks with 29 points.

OCC will travel to San Diego to take on Southwestern College Saturday

at 7 p.m.
