Cox in international tournament

LOS ALAMITOS - Newport Harbor High senior Kyndra Cox, a two-time

All-CIF Southern Section girls water polo standout, will play for the

national youth B team in the fifth annual North American Classic,

Sunday-Tuesday at the Armed Forces Reserved Base.

The Americans, ages 19 and younger, will host teams from Canada at the

event.

Cox’s youth B team will meet the U.S. national youth C team Monday at

11:30 a.m., then play the U.S. youth A team at 3:15 p.m.

Tuesday, Cox’s squad will face the Canadian junior national B team at

10:15 a.m.

Tickets are available at the door and the base is at 11200 Lexington, Ave. in Los Alamitos.
