AYSO Region 120: Costa Mesa Green win two

COSTA MESA - The Costa Mesa Green, an AYSO Plus Program boys

under-12 team from Region 120 chalked up two victories over teams from

Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach.

Despite missing center fullback Dallas Kopp with a broken wrist, the

team bounced back for the wins.

Strong play from Kane Curran, Trevor McDonald, Tony Krikorian, Nick

Arant and goalies Kyle Eckmann and Keith Eldridge led the Green Team.

Offensively, Evan VanGeem scored his first two goals of the season,

while Kyle Kell tallied another.

The midfield was controlled by Jordan Kalke, Scott Braunsdorf and Cory

Weikel, while Zack Oliver started many offensive opportunities with solid

passes.
