We asked six kindergartners at Anderson Elementary last week what

they wanted for Christmas.

Here’s what they had to say:”I want a dog for Christmas. A Golden

Retriever. I think I’ll get one because I wrote a note to Santa. It would

be a boy dog and I would name him Lucky.”EMMA KAYE, 5

Newport Beach

“I want ice skates because I want to learn how to ice skate. I could

balance on one foot if I learned how to ice skate. The Mighty Ducks are

my favorite ice skaters. I haven’t written a letter to Santa yet, maybe I

will tonight.”BEN COOPER, 5

Newport Beach

“I don’t know what I want for Christmas. I wrote a letter to Santa but I

haven’t mailed it yet. My favorite part about Christmas is opening up my

presents. If I could have one thing it would probably be a black cat.”

LEXIE SHAH, 5

Newport Beach

“I want roller-blades and a scooter called a “Razor.” I have been

roller-blading for two weeks. I can’t go fast and I always borrow my

friends. I put a helmet on because I know it is against the rules if I

don’t. Do you know how many dollars I have in my wallet? I have 20. And I

have four loose teeth. I am going to say Merry Christmas if I get

roller-blades on Christmas.”JOSHUA GIDDINGS, 5

Newport Beach

“I want computer games for Christmas. I would also like roller skates. My

favorite part about Christmas is when Santa comes down the chimney and

gives us presents.”

ANNIE SCOTT, 5 1/2

Newport Beach

“I want a Christmas tree, a scooter and a skateboard. My favorite part

about Christmas is playing in the snow. We are going to go to my Aunt’s

house because she is going to have a baby.”KOHL EBBING, 5
