Men’s basketball: Vanguard U rallies for win

COSTA MESA - Brandon Cablay scored 25 points, including seven

three-pointers to lead Vanguard University to a 71-67 comeback victory

over UC San Diego in nonleague action Tuesday night.

The Lions (5-4) trailed, 40-22, at halftime, but came back for the win

over UCSD (3-9).

Dennis Keane had 18 points, while John Kohlhaas chipped in with 13 for

the Lions.
