Ice Hockey: Bucs double up El Segundo

NEWPORT BEACH - Brett Meuman scored two goals to lead the Pee “A”

Back Bay Buckaneers to a 4-2 win over the El Segundo Regents.

Aris King and Mike McGinley also scored for the Buckaneers, with

assists coming from Eric Rosenberg, Brian Sheehy, Dani Ahumada, Jimmy

Wilson and Josh Jennrich.

Solid defensive play was turned in by Robbie Udoll, Andrew Reubens,

Brian Caldwell, A.Z. Smith and Danny Ahumada, while forwards Andrew

Ruddy, Blake Page and Chad Downing led the forechecking.

Goalie Steven Coonan stopped 20 shots and kept the Buckaneers in the

game with timely saves.
