Tom Logan, a beloved community activist, died Feb. 23 at 62 after

being hospitalized for three months from a car accident.

Charles “Pete” Conrad, who helped conquer space by becoming the third

man to walk on the moon, died July 8 at 69.

Donald L. Watson, a former city treasurer and chairman of the board

for the Huntington Beach Community Clinic, died Sept. 11 at 70.

Erik Marshall Lind, who piloted a Cessna that crashed into a hill

north of Ventura, died Oct. 16 at 18.

Tyson Michael Stearns, who was a passenger in a Cessna that crashed

into a hill north of Ventura, died Oct. 16 at 18.

Judith Bowman, a victim of the EgyptAir Fight 990 crash off the

Massachusetts island of Nantucket, died Oct. 31 at 57.
