* Adams Avenue: A car stereo worth $100 was stolen in the 1800 block the

evening of Dec. 15.

* Bristol Street: A compact disc player worth $150 was stolen from a car

in the 2900 block between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 21.

* Placentia Avenue: A wallet and its contents worth $30 were stolen from

a restaurant in the 2600 block the evening of Dec. 29.

* West 19th Street: A purse and its contents worth $80 were stolen from a

car in the 400 block between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 30.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East Coast Highway: A purse and its contents worth $175 were stolen

from a business in the 3500 block the evening of Dec. 30.

* Newport Center Drive: A cellular phone worth $100 was stolen from a car

in the 100 block at 12 p.m. Monday.

* Port Edward Place: A cellular phone worth $200 was stolen from a car in

the 1900 block between Saturday and Monday.

* Via Oporto: A purse and its contents worth $230 were stolen from a

restaurant in the 3400 block between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. Dec. 23.

* Westcliff Drive: Two ceramic planters worth $400 were stolen from a

home in the 1700 block Sunday evening.
