AYSO Region 120: Matrix blank South Irvine

COSTA MESA - The Matrix, an AYSO Region 120, Costa Mesa Silver

All-Star boys under-12 soccer team, avenged an earlier loss to South

Irvine, by posting a 3-0 shutout last weekend.

Matrix goals were scored by Gandhy Nava Garrett McMasters and German

Higadera.

Luis Cozza, Steven Brown, Luis Cozza, Herman Higadera and Nickolas Juarez

aided the scoring with some solid passing through the South Irvine zone,

while Luis Andrade, Kenneth Zic and Austin Evett led numerous offensive

charges.

On defense, Shawn Engmann, Albert Nava, Kyle Thorsness and Thomas

Kosnosky kept South Irvine out of scoring range.
