Softball: OCC wins big, 6-1

SAN DIEGO - Kristin Degree went 3-for-4, scored one run, and stole

three bases as her Orange Coast College’s softball team got a 6-1 victory

over host San Diego Mesa on Wednesday in a nonconference game. Down 1-0

in the third inning, OCC’s Renee Snyder hit a two-run double to give the

Pirates the lead. OCC’s next game is at home on Friday, against Rio

Hondo.
