Wrestling: Aliso handles Newport

ALISO VIEJO - Three pinfalls and a technical fall were the lone

highlights for Newport Harbor High’s wrestling team in Thursday’s 56-23

Sea View loss to host Aliso Niguel.

Harbor’s Bruce Lim was in total control in the 125-weight class, winning

by a technical fall, 22-7.

Lim’s win comes off a stellar performance in the Edison duel meet, where

he recorded two pins (one in 14 seconds) and two technical falls.

Tim Alexander (140), Michael Snyder (215) and Genero Mota (heavyweight)

each recorded pins for the Sailors, who compete in the Sea View League

Finals Saturday at 2 p.m.at Woodbridge High.
