In forming partnerships with local businesses, Lincoln Elementary School

has raised more than $900.

Aside from its usual fund-raisers, the PFO at Lincoln devised

money-raising partnerships with local merchants that earn them a piece of

the pie.

In the fall, Joe’s Pizza Place in Corona del Mar began donating 25% of

its proceeds, before tax, on orders from Lincoln families after 2 p.m. on

the first and third Tuesdays of the month. So far, Joe’s has raised more

than $300 for the school. Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Cafe and Emporium in

Corona del Mar agreed to a similar arrangement.
