Softball: OCC still undefeated

COSTA MESA - In five games, Orange Coast College’s softball team

matched its win total from last year with a 2-0 shutout of visiting San

Diego City Tuesday. The Pirates remains undefeated at 5-0 for the season.

OCC scored in the first and sixth innings. Kristin Degree, who is batting

.563, scored one run and stole two bases, bringing her theft total to 13.

Pitcher Noelle Espinoza only gave up three hits in six innings, and also

drove in one run.
