NHBA: Opening-day celebration set for March 4

NEWPORT BEACH - The Newport Harbor Baseball Association will be

hosting its annual Opening Day celebration March 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

at Mariners’ Park.

Over 1,300 members and community leaders are expected to be on hand for

the occasion.

Former Anaheim Angels’ player Rex Hudler will serve as Master of

Ceremonies for the day.

Some of the festivities will include a silent auction, a barbecue by the

Outback Steakhouse, bungee jumping, wall climbing, demonstrations by the

Newport Beach Fire and Police departments and more.
