Softball: CdM drops two

COSTA MESA - Corona del Mar High’s softball team kicked off the

2000 season with two games at the Costa Mesa Tournament, with the Sea

Kings coming up on the short end of the stick twice.

In game one, the Sea Kings lost an 8-0 lead in the final two innings for

a 12-10 loss to La Quinta.

Megan Curry had a hit and two RBIs, while Megan and Casey Bunney each

had a hit and an RBI for CdM.

Corona del Mar took on Anaheim in game two, with the Sea Kings falling,

19-6.

Alissa Zoelle had two doubles in the two games played for the Sea Kings.
