FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Harbor Boulevard: Someone stole a fax machine from the bed of a truck

in the 16500 block at 3:47 p.m. last Thursday.

* Newhope Avenue: Someone tried to break into a car in the 17800 block at

5:40 p.m. Friday

* Mt. Washington Street: Someone stole a car from the 18100 block at 7:30

a.m. Friday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Algonquin Street and Boardwalk Drive: Police said three boys were

trying to sell drugs at 6:11 p.m. last Thursday.

* Beach Boulevard: A woman received calls from an ex-employer at her new

business in the 16900 block at 3:30 p.m. Friday. She told police he

threatened to kill her and accused her of taking his customers.

* Bolsa Chica Road and Heil Avenue: A man was bothering customers at a

Taco Bell at 2:42 p.m. last Thursday. He then screamed at a woman at a

bus stop across the street, police said.

* Edinger Avenue: A man was threatening to jump over a counter and beat

up an employee in the 6400 block at 11:47 a.m. Friday. Police said the

man claimed the employee was being rude and using “wild language.”

* Gettysburg Drive: Someone threw a brick through the window of a car

parked in the 9000 block at 6:53 p.m. March 8.

* Gothard Street: Someone stole a bike in the 1700 block at 3:19 p.m.

last Thursday.

* Huntington Street: Someone stole a computer system from a home in the

first block at 4:23 p.m. Friday.

* Newland Street and Adams Avenue: A man tried to get a child to go with

him in his silver sports utility vehicle at 8:42 a.m. Friday.

* Pinecrest Circle: A woman in her 60s with gray hair and glasses was

brandishing a gun in the 4600 block at 11:40 a.m. Saturday.

* Springdale Street: An apartment manager in the 16000 block entered a

tenant’s apartment without her permission at 11:17 a.m. last Thursday.

* Warner Avenue: An 18-year-old woman was solicited by a man for money to

buy pizza in front of the Ralph’s in the 6900 block at 8:18 p.m. Sunday.

Police said when she gave him a dollar, he grabbed her and kissed her.

She then ran back into the store.
