The Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce and South Coast Metro Alliance will
present their Hall of Fame awards this morning at The Westin South Coast
Plaza.
The awards will be presented to winners in three categories.
Winning the category of Individual Achievement is Gary Gray of Orange
Auto Group, a longtime automobile industry executive.
The Corporate Recognition Award will go to David Petratis, president and
general manager of MGE UPS Systems, Inc., the world’s second-largest
manufacturer of power protection systems.
The Community Spirit Award will go to the accounting, tax and consulting
firm of Deloitte & Touche.
Phil Matchett, president of the South Coast Metro Alliance and vice
president, director of operations for CARRAmerica Realty Corp., said the
awards will establish “a benchmark for individuals and organizations to
strive harder to achieve success, and most importantly, give something
back to their industries and to our community.”
