Bulldogs win again

The Bulldogs continued Friday to take the bite out of their Norris

Division competition, beating the Jets, 5-3, at Coast 2 Coast Inline

Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

In picking up their third consecutive victory and improving their

division-leading record to 7-2, the Bulldogs were led by Jeff Fuzzard,

who scored twice with an assist. Single goals also went out to Luke

Hamigawa, Blake Jirges, and Bobby Sowma, and Jarrett Powers picked up a

pair of assists.

Brandon Bauman’s goal and assist paced the Jets (4-4-1), who also

received single goals from Jacob Schnautz and Daniel Ane.

In other games:

Earthquakes 5, Thunder Blades 2

The Earthquakes (4-5) knocked off the second place Thunder Blades (6-3-1)

behind Jared Musacchio’s three goals, a goal and assist by both Wade

Turner and Ramiro Pimentel, two assists by Christian Allen, and 21 saves

by goalie Colten Daigneault.

Both C.J. Coshow and Mark Kosko scored, and Kyle Evans and Joshua Gane

each had an assist for the Thunder Blades, who lost their second straight

after building four-game win streak.

Kaos 4, Stars 3

Ryan Burke scored twice, William DeWitt had a goal and assist, Jared

Hackworth scored once, and Donovan Gonzalez and Shaun Black each added an

assist for Kaos, which improved to 4-5.

Bryan Bennett, Connor Burns, and Nathan Sutton all scored, and Kevin

Hetrick and Dylan Higginson each had an assist for the Stars, who also

are 4-5.
