Women’s tennis: Lions hammer Hope International
FULLERTON - The Vanguard University women’s tennis team had little
trouble knocking off host Hope International, 8-1, in Golden State
Athletic Conference action Tuesday.
Sara Feree lost only three games in her two singles’ sets before teaming
up with Tomacita Martinez for an 8-0 sweep in doubles.
After losing her first set in singles, Martinez stormed back to win the
next two sets, 6-3, 7-6.
