Dodgers stage comeback to beat Yankees

The Dodgers spotted the Yankees a two run lead, then came back with

a big fourth inning rally, and rode it to a 3-2 victory Thursday in

Fountain Valley Little League Majors Division play.

A three run fourth inning propelled the Dodgers to the win, and pitcher

Tommy Delicce shut down the Yankees over three innings after the Yankees

had taken a 2-0 lead.

The big Dodger hit of the inning came from the bat of Michael Sosa, who

hit a triple.

Roger Huffman had an RBI single, and Matt Fink and Phil Burden each had

base hits for the Yankees.

Mariners 3, Marlins 1

Josh Larson pitched a complete game two hitter with two strikeouts, Joe

Musser hit an RBI triple, and Octavio Gomez doubled to highlight the the

Mariners attack.

Martin Duran and Jessey Cordero had the Marlins hits, and Michael Britt

delivered their lone RBI.

Cardinals 9, Royals 4

Erik Rhoten’s bases loaded doubled keyed a six run third inning and sent

the Cardinals on their way to the victory. Ricky Rea singled, tripled,

and drove in two runs, Derek Kramer singled twice, and Jonathan

Bustamante singled and had an RBI to lead the Cardinals on offense.

Brian Kacoullas and Alex Moreno each singled twice, Dustin Jamison had an

RBI single, and James Martinez had another single for the Royals.
