1. A LOT OF SHABBAT: The Jewish Community Center of Orange County

will host a singles “Shabbat Across America” service at 6 p.m. Friday.

The event, which is $15 for members and $18 for nonmembers, will feature

a Shabbat dinner and a service for singles. Reservations are required.
