CMALL: Tigers wallop White Sox

COSTA MESA - The Tigers used 12 hits and two home runs to knock off

the White Sox, 11-1, in Costa Mesa American Little League action last

weekend.

Jamie Tinnion and Andrew Sanford each had a home run, while Matt Doran

and R.J. Duernberger combined for five hits for the Tigers.

Duernberger went the distance for the Tigers, striking out 10, while

walking none.

In other CMALL action:

Yankees 16, Rangers 16 - Scotty Steffel and Nathan McFarland hit

back-to-back home runs for the Rangers in their 16-16 tie with the

Yankees.

Parker Olson had three hits and two RBIs and led the Rangers defensively.

Yankees 6, Red Sox 0 - Jordan Kalke, Isiah Werdel and Brandon Hoffman

combined to throw a two-hit shutout for the Yankees in their 6-0 win over

the Red Sox.

Kalke also chipped in at the plate with a two-run home run, while Werdel

and Hoffman each chipped in RBI hits.
