Rockies top Dodgers, 4-3

Matt Fockler pitched a complete game victory Monday, striking out

eight as the Rockies rallied and then held off the Dodgers, 4-3, in

Seaview Little League Minor A Division play.

Anthony Lee had the game-winning RBI in the fifth inning, which

culminated a Rockies rally that included hits by Austin Rovazzini, a Nick

Duchene triple, Addison Babinski (who stole home), and Wes Graves.

Brian Griffin and Shane Gardner both tripled, and Garret Archuleta

doubled, for the Dodgers.

Pirates 8, Rockies 7

Behind a strong relief performance by pitcher Mark Miller, the Pirates

came from behind to edge the Dodgers.

Chaz Haffke went 3 for 3, Brian Kobylka doubled twice, and Mike Ross also

doubled to lead the Pirates on offense.

For the Rockies, Austin Rovazzini doubled twice and singled, Addison

Babinski doubled and singled, Jack Garrabrant went 2 for 2, and Koty

Graves got his first hit of the season.
