OCC’s athletic honor roll

COSTA MESA - A total of 55 Orange Coast College student-athletes

made the college’s Athletic Honor Roll for the fall semester of 1999.

The list was released earlier this month by the Pirates’ Athletic

Department. In order to qualify, students were required to maintain at

least a 3.0 grade-point average during the season of their sport, while

taking a minimum of 12 units.

Students with a 4.0 GPA included: Amanda Bell (women’s soccer); Jan Cheng

(women’s golf); Rana Duszunski (women’s basketball); Nadine Engel

(women’s soccer); Deanna Harkink (women’s volleyball); Kathy Hille

(women’s golf); Martin R. Janzon; (football); April Lynch (women’s

soccer); Danh Quoc Ngo (men’s cross country); Jimmy Ronnkvist (football);

Sabrina Sakaguchi (women’s volleyball) and Juan Sanchez (men’s cross

country).

Those in the 3.5-3.9 range are: Brett Bond (women’s volleyball); Scott

Butler (men’s water polo); Michael Carvin (men’s soccer); Dustin Davis

(football); Karyn Fierst (women’s basketball); Chad Hagedorn (men’s

basketball); Dawn Hans (women’s soccer); Robert Andrew Jones (men’s

cross coutry); Bonnie Kuntz (women’s cross country); Meredith Lake

(women’s soccer); Lars Leksell (football); Megan Masuda (women’s

basketball); Jennifer McCartin (women’s volleyball); Matt McKinney (men’s

water polo); Jon Navarro (men’s soccer); Sinforosa Orozco (women’s cross

country); Rachel Reed (women’s volleyball); Robert Schnekenburger

(football); Joanna Williams (women’s cross country) and Anthony Valanos

(football).

In the 3.-3.4 range are: Manuel Adams (football); Kent Anderson

(football); Noe Belmundez (football); William Bingham (men’s water polo);

Justin Blackhard (football); Tyler Caffey (men’s water polo); Bradley

Causee (men’s water polo); Justin Dale (football); Gerard Fane

(football); Andrew Gade (men’s water polo); George Grosvenor (football);

Nicole Jankowski (women’s soccer); Crystal Kawaguchi (women’s

basketball); Christopher Lancellotti (men’s water polo); Danelle Loftis
