Boys tennis: Sea Kings blank Estancia

COSTA MESA - Corona del Mar High’s boys tennis team had little

trouble knocking off host Estancia, 18-0, in Pacific Coast League action

Tuesday.

Cameron Ball won all 18 games played in singles, while all three doubles

teams lost only one game each for the Sea Kings (15-3, 6-1 in league),

ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division I.

CdM will take league nemesis University (ranked No. 1 in Division II)

today at CdM, beginning at 3:15 p.m. The Trojans doubled up CdM, 12-6, on

March 29 at Uni, giving the Sea Kings their only league blemish.

Singles - Morton (CdM) def. D. Glacy, 6-1, def. C. Glacy, 6-0, won by

default; Ball (CdM) won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0; Kennedy (CdM) won, 6-1, 6-1, 6-0.

Doubles - Kulmaticki-Bean (CdM) def. Turjillo-Valdez, 6-1; def.

Alvergue-Mumtaz, 6-0, def. Chun-Leones, 6-0; Myers-Stockwell (CdM) won,

6-0, 6-1, 6-0; Stuart-Ning (CdM) won, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0.
