NHBA Bronco: Angels knock off Yankees

NEWPORT BEACH - The Newport Harbor Baseball Association Bronco

Division Angels won their third straight game with an 11-4 win over the Yankees on April 8.

Nick Frazier hit a home run, his third in three games for the Angels. He

was 3 for 5 with two RBIs and fell just short hitting for the cycle.

Also strong on offense for the Angels were Christian WInkler (3 for 4)

and Josh Syndell (2 for 4, one RBI).

Chris Thompson, Cole Riley, Chase Smith and Frazier shared the pitching

duties for the Halos.

The Yankees were led by Davis Pemstein, who was 3 for 3 with an RBI. He

also pitched three innings, striking out four and allowing only three

hits.

In other Bronco Division action:

Angels 7, Indians 6 - Nick Frazier had a home run, single and two RBI to

lead the Angels over the Indians on April 3.

Pitchers Frazier, Chris Thompson, Chase Smith and Cole Riley combined to

hold off the Indians’ attack.

Chris Thompson went 2 for 3 with two doubles, while Dyllin Shane chipped

in with a couple of hits as well.

Angels 6, Dodgers 3 - Chris Thompson was 3 for 3 with two RBIs to lead

the Angels over the Dodgers.

Nick Frazier hit a home run and had two RBIs, while Patrick Dayton went 2

for 3 with a walk.

Angels 16, Padres 6 - Nick Frazier had a game-high four RBIs to lead the

Angels over the Padres.

Josh Syndell had two doubles Patrick Dayton added a long double to center

and Dyllin Shane went 2 for 3 for the Angels.
