NEWPORT BEACH - In Newport Harbor Baseball Association’s Mustangs

Division, The Red Sox wiped out a 5-1 deficit in the fifth inning en

route to a 9-6 Little League baseball win over the Yankees on April 13.

Yankees starter John Swift gave up one run in the first three inning.

Garrett Gordon led off the fifth for the Red Sox with a double. Brandon

Theis, Bryce Fuller and Andrew Kaban then drove in runs to give the Red

Sox the lead. Gordon, the winning pitcher, hit an inside-the-park home

run in the sixth for an insurance run.
