* 19th Street: An assault was reported at 8 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block.

* Placentia Avenue: A car was reported stolen at 11 a.m. Sunday in the

1900 block.

* Ponderosa Street: A person was reported missing at 10 a.m. Saturday in

the 1600 block.

NEWPORT BEACH

* 38th Street: A laptop computer with an estimated value of $800 was

reported stolen between midnight and 4 p.m. Friday in the 100 block.

* 44th Street: An attempted burglary was reported at 12:30 a.m. Friday in

the 100 block.

* Goldenrod Lane: Two windows were reported smashed between 2:30 and 4:30

p.m. in the 900 block.

* River Avenue: A bike with an estimated value of $1,000 was reported

stolen at 1:50 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block.
