ENGAGEMENTS

Ms. Veronica Lorman of Balboa Island and Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Lorman of

Newport Beach have announced the engagement of their daughter, Brooke

Allison Lorman, to Dr. Andrew Dimitrios Beros, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Constantinos Beros of Oakland. The couple will marry Sept. 16 at the

Church of the Assumption in Long Beach.

The bride graduated from Corona del Mar High School. She then attended

the University of California at Berkeley, where she received her

bachelor’s degree in philosophy and met her future groom. She will

receive her law degree from UCLA Law School this year.

After graduating from Head-Royce School in Oakland, the groom received

his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at

Berkeley. He then graduated from UCSD Medical School. He is currently a

resident specializing in head and neck surgery in San Diego.

The couple will reside in San Diego.
