The Huntington Beach Art Center will host its first performance art

series, “One Night Only,” at 8 p.m. “Inter-actions,” featuring four of

Southern California’s emerging performance artists, will present an

evening of storytelling, mapping invisible dialogues and cutting the body

The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is initiating two bird watching teams to gain

data. Volunteers are needed to assist with two bird-counting tasks: a

twice-a-month bird count at low tide in the Outer Bay of Bolsa Chica by

the Warner Avenue Bridge, and a twice-a-month walk of the beach to

monitor the snowy plovers on the beaches in Sunset Beach and Surfside
