Softball: Newport falls, 3-1

NEWPORT BEACH - In Wednesday’s game, Newport Harbor High’s softball

team lost to visiting Laguna Hills, 3-1, in a Sea View League game.

The Sailors (9-11, 0-6) in league only had three hits. Two of them were

singles by Breanne Parmeter, and Lisa Huntington had an RBI single in the

third that scored Lauren Gallardo. The Hawks are now 17-8, 4-2 in league.
