Roller hockey: Penguins edge Stars

COSTA MESA - Kevin Kottke and Connor Corrigan each scored two goals

to lead the undefeated Penguins over the Stars, 6-4 in Costa Mesa Boys &

Girls Club of the Harbor Area, fourth grade roller hockey action.

Justin Bailey and Deryck Matallah each added single tallies for the

Penguins.

In goal, Dylan Flinn played well for the Pens, while Craig Desbrow led

the defense.

In first and second grade roller hockey action:

Red Wings win two - The Red Wings improved to 5-0 for the season

following two big wins local foes.

Ryan Iverson had 13 goals in the two wins, while Scott Pantoskey chipped

in with four goals.

Strong defensive play was turned in by Cody Parole, Lucas Gagnon and Tony

Nasca, while Patty Moddelmog and Ryan Lobato provided support on both

ends of the floor.

Nasca and Riley Conroy each played well in goal for the Red Wings.
