CMNLL Majors: Marlins handle the Diamondbacks

COSTA MESA - The Costa Mesa National Little League Majors Division

Marlins defeated the Diamondbacks, 7-2, last weekend.

Ryan Bagwell had a double, home run and two RBIs, while Eric Seagondollar

added two hits and an RBI.

Other key hits were turned in by Adam Seagondollar, P.J. Errington, Evan

Spencer, Jeremy Spera and Andrew Whitaker.

Starting pitcher Vinnie Valdez got the win, pitching three solid innings

with five strikeouts.

In other Majors Division action:

Marlins 18, Red Sox 6 - The Marlins pounded out 15 hits en route to the

win over the Red Sox.

Victor Valdez had three hits, including a home run and five RBIs, while

Jeremy Spera had four hits and two RBIs.

Vinnie Valdez also had a home run and drove in three, while Evan Spencer,

Ryan Bagwell, Eric Seagondollar and Adam Seagondollar each had big

offensive games.
