AYSO Region 120: Top Guns edged by Belmont Shores

COSTA MESA - The Costa Mesa Top Guns, a girls under 12 squad from

AYSO Region 120, lost its final spring select season game, 2-1, to

Belmont Shores.

Melissa Murphy scored the lone goal for the Top Guns. Other offensive

standouts include Brooke Maxfield, Alissa Hilliard and Phoebe Chang.

Leading the defense was Emily Leece, Arion Ingram, Lisa Newton, Kristen

Paulsen, Brianna Vanderwal and Taylor Feldman.

Keeping the balls out of the goals were keepers Mikyla Lux, Melissa

Murphy, Avery Williams and Nichole Johnson.

The Top Guns’ final games will be at the Irvine Cup in June.
