NHBA Mustang: Cardinals defeat Mets

NEWPORT BEACH - The Cardinals used four pitchers to hold down the

Mets, 11-6, in Newport Harbor Baseball Association Mustang (9-10 years

old) Division action.

Morgan Lintz, Matt Bissonnette, Jackson Massingill and Jason Loftus

combined to strike out 10 Mets in the game, keeping their offense in

check.

The Cardinals’ offense was led by Mavrick Medler, who had two hits and

two RBIs. Darren Leggett had a hit and three RBIs, while Brian Ross added

a hit and two RBIs.

Loftus and Myles Christian also had RBI triples for the Cards, while

Bissonnette added two hits and an RBI.
