Commodores breakfast

NEWPORT BEACH - The 39th annual Athletic Awards, presented by the

Commodores Club of the Newport Harbor Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled

for Thursday morning, 7:15, at The Sutton Place Hotel.

Each year the top 15 senior athletes from Newport Harbor and Corona del

Mar are honored for their outstanding achievements.

“Every year these student athletes’ achievements become more and more

amazing,” commented Richard Leuhrs, president and CEO of the Newport

Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s an honor for the Chamber of

Commerce to spotlight these outstanding young men and women to the

community for their performances.”

Residents and the business community are invited to support the event.
