The price of the parking meters in the Cannery Village parking lot, the

Washington Street lot will double from 25 cents to 50 cents.

City officials said they are making parking more expensive in an effort

to manage the limited supply of spaces. The meters in Balboa Village will

increase to $1 an hour on Balboa Boulevard, Palm Street and Bay Avenue.
