Award for best product at the National Assn. of Professional Organizers’

received a Joseph Kroll Outstanding Student Award, presented by Orange

California Board of Accountancy of her eligibility to engage in the

residents ... Marine Corps Pfc. Joseph H. Ngo, son of Fountain Valley

residents Mary and Paul Ngo, reported for duty at Camp Pendleton. Ngo

Squadron 39.... Army Pfc. Sean D. Barrett, son of Huntington Beach

resident Shannon Barrett, has been decorated with the Army Achievement

Medal. This medal is awarded to soldiers who have served in any capacity,

in a noncombat area, authorized by the Secretary of the Army ... The Girl

Scout Council of Orange County elected new members to its board of

directors and nominating committee at its annual meeting. Among the

34-person board was Joan Kelly of Huntington Beach ... The Huntington

Beach Elks Lodge 1959 received an award of merit from the Huntington

Beach Police Explorer Post for its longtime, ongoing support. The lodge

has supplied financial support for the post’s special events, youth

training and its facility.
