Brewers big rally falls short

Seemingly down and out after being saddled with an 11 run deficit,

the Brewers staged an incredible rally, only to be outscored again in the

end in a 15-13 loss to the Tigers in Ocean View Little League Minor A

Division action.

Down 11-0, the Brewers rallied to earn an 11-11 tie, but were outscored,

4-2, down the stretch.

Ryan Siwieki homered, singled twice, and scored three runs and Scott

Baxter had two hits and scored twice to lead the Brewers.

For the Tigers, Ian Cable hit a home run, doubled, singled, and produced

three RBI, Cole Tischer had three hits, Ashton Amundson walked three

times and scored three runs, Travis Kaufman scored three runs, and

Garrett Shinn had a hit and scored three runs.

Shinn started on the mound for the Tigers and allowed just one run while

striking out five in three innings.

Red Sox 7, Rangers 4

Justin Pack doubled and singled, Tom Greiner tripled, Mike Murray

doubled, and the pitching of TJ Israel and Travis Israel sparked the Red

Sox to victory; Tyler Geery had an RBI single and Bryan Van Arsdale and

Bo Wensevic both doubled for the Rangers.

MINOR B DIVISION

Cardinals 6, Orioles 5

Jason Aden produced a run-scoring double and Allan Ivy had an RBI single

during a four-run sixth inning which propelled the Cardinals to the

come-from-behind victory. Richard Shawn also had three hits for the

winners. Hayden Toney doubled and singled for the Orioles.
