Reds claim Bronco title

The Reds finished up an exciting season Monday by defeating the

Astros, 1-0, to win the Bronco Division (ages 11-12) championship.

The double-elimination championship series came to an end when Jeff Roth

produced a solo home run in the first inning and the Reds’ pitching and

defense did the rest.

The pitching combination of Ryan Stehle, Roth and Jeff Hann earned the

shutout, while the defense of Stehle, Justin De Marco and Joel Bagby,

denied the Astros any scoring opportunities.

Other members of the Reds championship team include Brandon Cooke, Jason

Croswell, Brandon Gladu, Jonathan Harada and Michael Lucas.
