We asked folks at the Home Depot in Costa Mesa how they are going to

celebrate the Fourth of July.

I am flying back to Pennsylvania and will be the maid of honor in my

sister’s wedding July 1. Then we will be playing golf.

I am going to be drinking cocktails--but not driving--the entire day. The

day off is the absolute best thing about the Fourth of July.

We’re going to be watching the city’s fireworks display. We watch them

every year. I bring my gal and when it climaxes I give her a big smooch.

That’s the best.

I’ll be helping the Masonic organization out with its efforts at the

Huntington Beach parade. We will be serving food and helping all the

celebrities (i.e. local officials) who are in the parade.

I’m going to my nephew Willy’s birthday on the peninsula. He’s turning 7.

Each year they have a parade for the kids; they ride their bikes. It’s a

family day filled with lots of good stuff.
