We asked children at a Costa Mesa day camp what makes summer great for

them:

That you get off of school and don’t have to go back for three months.

I’ll be going to different camps. I’m looking forward to the sea camp.

You get to swim. And wear shorts. That’s all I like about summer, really.

And I get to play baseball.

times, there are lots of fruits and vegetables that are in season during
