For students anxious to begin their college career at OCC, registration

for all 2,500 classes offered begins July 5.

The 18-week classes for the fall semester will begin Aug. 14 and the

16-week courses will start Aug. 28.

More than 65% of the college’s courses are of the 16-week variety, which

means they end before Christmas.

Applications are being accepted and registration appointments are

available in OCC’s admissions office. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 6:30

p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays.

Classes are $11 per unit and financial aid is available. Touch-tone phone

registration is also available beginning July 5, and in-person late

registration will be conducted Aug. 8-10.

Fall schedules will be mailed to students’ homes this month. The fall
