HUNTINGTON BEACH

The Huntington Beach Playhouse needs volunteers to help with set

construction and design, as well as decorations, sound, lighting, stage

Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Goldenwest area, Huntington Beach needs

volunteers for clerical and outreach programs. Outreach includes food

delivery to the elderly, working in the soup kitchen and helping the

The Therapeutic Riding Center of Huntington Beach needs volunteers to

assist disabled students learning to ride horses. Service is needed

Mondays and Tuesdays from 2 to 5 p.m. Lessons are held at the Equestrian

Ocean View Little League Challenger Division is a baseball program for

Seniors Outreach Center serves the frail and homebound elderly.

Volunteers will be trained to operate a city vehicle to provide

transportation for senior citizens. Five hours per week is required.

South Coast Collective Huntington Beach Site works to prevent tobacco

use among teens through the Stop Tobacco Access to Kids Enforcement Act.

Volunteers ages 14 to 16 are needed to help ensure that businesses comply

with the state law prohibiting tobacco sales to anyone under age 18.

The Orange County Red Cross urgently needs volunteers for its Fountain

assist blood donors by serving juice and cookies, greeting, registration

The American Cancer West Unit Information Center on the campus of

Fountain Valley Regional Hospital needs volunteers to answer the

HelpLine. Flexible hours are available, and some may even volunteer from

willing to work four hours per week performing a variety of services in

Salvation Army Thrift Stores provide the sole source of funding for The

Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center, the largest drug and
