The Breakers, Kings, tie one on

Scoreless through two periods of play Wednesday, the Breakers and

Kings each came up with a goal in the third quarter of play, but neither

team could score again and ended up in a 1-1 tie in Campbell Division

action at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Travis Beckman scored off a Wesley Theobald assist to give The

Breakers a 1-0 lead, but the Kings drew even when Cobly Rios fed Marcus

Kurth for a late score.

Dylan Heyden scored three goals and finished with one assist, Nathan

Bergeron scored twice, Zane Weber scored once, Patrick Hudson had an

assist, and goalie Jeff Fuzzard had 25 saves for the Penguins; Dylan

Miller scored off a Brett Harper assist, and goalie Rebecca Koppel

stopped 21 shots for the Red Wings

Menehune 5, Slaphots 2

Austin Shannon poured in four goals, Mitch Robinson scored once, and

Cody Ferrer and Casidhe Kunichika had two assists apiece for the

Menehune; John Aldinger scored, Nick Hansen had an assist, and goalie

Janien Barber had 23 saves for the Slapshots.
