Pet of the week

Tabitha, a spayed, 3-year-old tabby, is available for adoption at the

Newport Beach Animal Shelter, where she is at risk of being euthanized.

She is a loving cat that needs a home, say the people at the Community

Animal Network in Newport Beach.

Other rescued cats and dogs may be adopted from noon to 4 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays at Russo’s Pet Experience at Fashion Island in

Newport Beach.

Funds are always accepted and needed to pay veterinarian bills

incurred by the Community Animal Network for the care of stray pets.

The community-supported animal organization links people and pets
