Costa Mesa’s recreation division will offer an “Overnighter” Kids

Night Out program.

Children 7 to 12 can participate in the program, which will be from 6

p.m. Aug. 18 to 8 a.m. Aug. 19 at the Balearic Community Center, 1975

Balearic.

The kids will play games, do arts and crafts projects and watch a

movie.

Registration is $20 per child. The price includes supervision, snacks,

craft supplies, dinner, breakfast, transportation and movie tickets.

Preregistration is required and closes Thursday.

All participants must bring a sleeping bag, a pillow and personal

hygiene items such as a toothbrush.
