Ocean View players to be honored

Ocean View Little League Manager Yun Conger said on Tuesday that

the Ocean View Little League Majors Division All-Star team, which

finished runner-up in the recent Western Region tournament, will be

honored at the Sept. 18th Huntington Beach City Council meeting.

City Spokesman Rich Barnard confirmed the presentation ceremony for

the Ocean View coaches and players, which will take place at the the

start of the council meeting held at City Hall.

“We like to bring people down to these meetings and recognize them for

their outstanding achievements and contributions to the city,” Barnard

said. “This Ocean View team certainly gave the city plenty to be proud

of.”
