Here’s a sneak peak at a few of the players who figure to make an

impact for Marina High in 2000, with a comment on each from Coach Mike

Dodd:

BEAU BROWN, QB, 5-11, 175, Sr.: “Has speed and great field vision;

runs the option well.”

AARON WILLIAMS, RB/C, 6-1, 190, Sr.: “Our most complete football

player. Has tremendous speed.”

INOKE TUKIA, LB/TE, 6-2, 225, Sr.: “Great lateral speed. Should be one

of the top linebackers in the league. Heavily recruited.”

KENNY WEBBER, SS/RB, 5-11, 195, Sr.: “One of our veterans back for his

senior year. A very physical football player.”

KEVIN RODRIGUEZ, RB/LB, 5-9, 190, Sr.: “Very quick. A two-way player

for us, and our special downs guy.”

TURILL ENGLEMAN, RB, 6-0, 180, Jr.: “A track guy who also possesses

tremendous speed.”

ADAM HAYWARD, LB/RB, 6-1, 205, Jr.: “Physical and quick; joins Inoke

Tukia as a returning linebacker.”

LAYTON BOWLES, LB/T, 6-1, 195, Sr.: “A big, quick kid, and a great

technician.”

CHRIS HANVEY, C/LB, 6-0, 195, Sr.: “He’s playing a new position -

center, and his play there will be a big key for us.”

JASON DAVIDSON, G, 5-10, 215, Sr.: “A big guy at tackle, but little

varsity experience.”

BRANDON THOMPSON, T, 6-2, 230, Sr.: “He and Jason Davidson will form

the nucleus of our offensive line.”

SEAN SANCHEZ, WR/K, 5-9, 155, Sr.: “Another one of our veteran kinds,

and a very versatile player.”
